Tips to Help You Prioritize Your Self-Care During COVID-19

Is it just us or does it feel like there's a breaking news update or new meme every other minute? If it feels like you're drowning in information and are desperately seeking a rescue, consider this your lifeguard. 

Dealing with social distancing and quarantine can make even the most introverted among us feel isolated. And no matter your feelings--confused or sad, anxious or angry--it's okay to accept that you're not 100 percent okay or coping perfectly with everything. This is a weird and scary time, and it's normal to fluctuate between enjoying board games with your children to taking 10 minutes to cry alone all in the same day. There's no guidebook for how best to handle the ups and downs of our coronavirus-related emotions, so let this be your permission slip to take it day by day, news break by news break, meme by meme.

SparkUNPLUG

SparkUNPLUG is a mindfulness session led by Julie Frischkorn, Spark360's director of behavioral health and mindfulness. Devoting just 15 minutes a week for your own self-care can do wonders for your outlook and anxiety levels, so if you struggle with stress, add a few minutes of mindfulness to your calendar for a dose of good health.
